A full-time Music Therapist (MT-BC) opportunity is available in Cypress, TX, serving an elementary school within the South & West Divisions. This contract position runs through June 4, 2026, and involves providing school-based music therapy services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct music therapy services to students based on individual IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs
- Track and document student progress regularly
- Provide training and collaboration with school staff to support student outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) credential required
- Bachelors degree in Music Therapy
- Experience delivering music therapy services within school settings preferred
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and drug screening processes promptly
- Reliable transportation and comfort commuting within the South and West school divisions
